Hyderabad: An RTC bus overturned after hitting a road divider on National Highway 44 near Pebberu in Wanaparthy district, leaving around 20 passengers injured. The bus was travelling from Mantralayam to Wanaparthy when the accident occurred.
According to initial information, the bus lost balance after striking the divider and overturned onto the road. The accident disrupted traffic on the highway as the vehicle blocked part of the carriageway.
Rescue operation launched after RTC bus accident
Police rushed to the accident site after receiving information from local residents and began rescue operations. Emergency responders shifted the injured passengers to Pebberu Hospital and the Government Hospital in Wanaparthy for treatment.
