CM Revanth Reddy meets Governor at Lok Bhavan

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma at Lok Bhavan on Wednesday and conveyed New Year greetings in a courtesy call.

The Chief Minister felicitated the Governor by presenting a shawl, a bouquet, and a memento as part of the New Year courtesy. Sources said the two leaders exchanged views on several issues related to the state during the brief interaction. The Revanth Reddy Governor meeting took place at the Governor’s official residence in Hyderabad.

The meeting was described as cordial, with discussions focusing on administrative and governance-related matters. Officials present indicated that the interaction reflected routine coordination between the Raj Bhavan and the elected government.

Separately, the Chief Minister extended heartfelt New Year greetings to the people of Telangana. He said the New Year should bring renewed hope, success, and happiness to every household across the state.

Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that 2026 would mark significant milestones in Telangana’s progress. He reiterated that the government would continue to prioritise the welfare of farmers, youth, women, and workers while accelerating development plans aligned with Vision 2047. He also called for public cooperation to move Telangana forward on a fast development path.
