Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka visited Tirumala on the occasion of the New Year and offered prayers to Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple along with his family.
TTD officials accorded a ceremonial welcome to the Deputy Chief Minister on his arrival at the hill shrine. Bhatti Vikramarka entered the temple through the Vaikuntha Dwaram and performed special prayers. After the darshan, Vedic scholars blessed him at the Ranganayakula Mandapam, while temple officials presented him with teertha and prasadam. The Bhatti Vikramarka Tirumala visit marked the beginning of the New Year with traditional religious observances.
Speaking to the media after the darshan, the Deputy Chief Minister said he had prayed for the prosperity, happiness, and economic strength of both Telugu states. He added that he sought divine blessings for peace and well-being for people across the country.

Bhatti Vikramarka expressed hope that Telangana would achieve all-round development and that the government would continue implementing welfare schemes in line with public aspirations. He also conveyed his wishes for health and harmony for all citizens in the New Year.
Meanwhile, BRS leader and MLC Dasoju Sravan Kumar and Jammu and Kashmir Governor Manoj Sinha also visited the temple and extended New Year greetings to the people. Earlier, Pan-India film star Prabhas’s aunt Shyamala Devi met the Deputy Chief Minister and his wife and conveyed New Year wishes.
