Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner and Principal Census Officer R.V. Karnan inspected the ongoing Census House Listing and Enumeration activities at HLB Nos. 29 and 30 behind Market Lane in Tukkuguda under Shamshabad Circle.
During the inspection, the Commissioner reviewed the field-level enumeration process and stressed the need for accurate and systematic data collection for effective implementation of Census and Special Intensive Revision activities.
Karnan interacted with enumerators and supervisory staff in the field and examined the house listing and verification procedures. He also assessed the progress, punctuality and efficiency of field duties during the visit.
Census enumeration review focused on staff performance
The Commissioner instructed officials to maintain strict monitoring of attendance and staff performance throughout the exercise. He also directed the teams to complete the enumeration review work within the stipulated timeline without compromising accuracy.
Officials said the inspection aimed to strengthen field coordination and ensure smooth execution of enumeration activities in the Shamshabad Circle area.
