Hyderabad: The Golconda Police recovered 24 lost mobile phones through the CEIR portal and technical investigation before handing them over to the complainants at Golconda Police Station on May 24, 2026.
ACP Tolichowki Division distributed the recovered mobile phones to the respective owners after police traced the devices from different locations. The complainants had earlier reported the loss of their mobile phones under various circumstances.
They said the Police used the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal along with continuous technical follow-up to trace the devices. Officials also advised the public to immediately report lost or stolen mobile phones at the nearest police station or through the CEIR portal for faster recovery.
Golconda Police recovery traced phones from multiple locations
The Detective Team of Golconda Police Station carried out the recovery operation under the guidance of Inspector P. Saidulu and Detective Inspector P. Anjaiah. DSI Anjaneyulu and the crime team participated in tracing the mobile phones from different areas.
The operation was supervised by ACP Syed Fiaz of the Tolichowki Division, Golconda Zone, Hyderabad. Police said timely complaints and technical tracking through the CEIR system helped officials identify and recover the missing devices.
