Hyderabad: Four people died in a Nizamabad bus accident after a private travel bus overturned on National Highway-44 near Gannaram in Indalwai mandal late at night.
According to preliminary reports, the bus was travelling from Hyderabad with 22 passengers when it lost control and overturned on the highway. The impact killed four passengers on the spot while several others suffered injuries.
Local residents noticed the accident and immediately alerted the police. They also helped shift the injured passengers to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police officials said two of the injured were reported to be in critical condition. Authorities have begun an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
