Hyderabad: The state government on Tuesday transferred eight non-cadre police officers, reshuffling key administrative and operational posts across Telangana.
Under the orders, the government posted Hyderabad SP (Admin) K Prasad as CID SP. It also appointed Warangal Principal PTC Pooja as SP (Admin) of the Telangana Command Control Centre.
The government moved Rachakonda Special Branch Additional DCP S Ravichandra to Hyderabad as Additional SP (Admin). It transferred Hyderabad West Zone Additional DCP T Govardhan and posted him as SOT Additional DCP. Authorities also posted G Narender, who was on the waiting list, as Intelligence Additional SP.
Non-cadre police transfers affect multiple departments
In another change, the government shifted CID Additional SP M Sudarshan and posted him as Cyberabad Additional DCP. It transferred CID SP K Venkatalakshmi and appointed her as Hyderabad City DCP (Admin). The government also attached Telangana Civil Police Corporation Additional SP S Suryanarayana to the office of the ACB Director General’s Office.
Officials said the transfers form part of routine administrative measures. They aim to strengthen policing and improve coordination across departments.
