Hyderabad: The 38th Hyderabad National Book Fair opens today at NTR Stadium opposite Indira Park, marking the beginning of an 11-day celebration of books and reading. The event will conclude on the 29th of this month.
Minister Jupally Krishna Rao will inaugurate the book fair today. Visitors can access the fair daily from 1 pm to 9 pm, while on weekends the exhibition will open from 12 pm.
Hyderabad National Book Fair attracts lakhs of readers
The entry fee has been fixed at Rs.10, while writers, journalists, and school students will be allowed free entry. Organisers have set up 365 stalls, showcasing Telugu literature along with national and international publications.
According to organisers, at least 10 lakh book lovers visit the fair every year. This year, the expected footfall is more than 15 lakh people.
