KTR Declares Jubilee Hills Will Start Congress’s Countdown

Hyderabad: BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) said the Congress government had “betrayed every section of society,” turning Telangana into “a state of corruption and deception.”

Speaking during a roadshow in Shaikpet for Maganti Sunitha, wife of late MLA Maganti Gopinath, KTR said the Jubilee Hills by-election would mark the beginning of the Congress’s downfall.

“People trusted Congress once, and it sold them dreams. Now it sells lies,” he said, adding that the ruling party had failed on every promise made before the 2023 election.

Calling the “Six Guarantees” “six grand deceptions,” he said, “Not a single promise—pensions, youth benefits, or scooters—has seen daylight. Even KCR’s welfare measures have been dismantled.”

He alleged that “commissions and scams define this government.” “Ministers fight for kickbacks while citizens fight to survive,” KTR said.

He criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, calling him “a symbol of arrogance.” “This government demolishes poor homes, destroys industries, and squeezes small traders,” he added.

Urging voters to “teach Congress a lesson,” KTR said, “If Jubilee Hills rejects Congress, Telangana will rise again under KCR. Take their money if offered, but vote for the Car symbol.”

KTR concluded, “This bypoll is the countdown for a corrupt government’s end and the dawn of BRS’s resurgence.”
