Hyderabad: The coconut theft reported in Banjara Hills on Road No. 14 has raised concerns about security and the vulnerability of street vendors.
The thief, arriving in an auto, removed the tarpaulin on a roadside cart and stole coconuts at midnight. CCTV cameras recorded the act.

Vendors said this was not the first such incident. Many depend on overnight storage of coconuts as part of their daily business. Locals said repeated thefts threaten the fragile livelihood of small traders.
While the video went viral on social media, police have yet to receive a formal complaint. Residents urged authorities to ensure stricter patrols and action against such thefts.
