GHMC Commissioner felicitates retiring employees

Hyderabad: R. V. Karnan felicitated GHMC retiring employees who completed their service at the end of June 2026, recognising their dedication and contribution to Hyderabad’s civic administration.

A total of 35 employees from the Engineering, Public Health, Urban Community Development, Revenue, Sanitation, Horticulture, Town Planning and Administration departments retired on June 30 after serving the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation in various capacities. The Commissioner honoured them during a farewell programme.

Karnan appreciated the employees for their commitment, sincerity and consistent efforts in strengthening civic administration. Moreover, he said their work had contributed significantly to improving public services for the people of Hyderabad.

The Commissioner thanked the retiring employees for their valuable service and wished them good health, happiness and a fulfilling retired life. He also encouraged them to take pride in their achievements and continue contributing to society in different ways.

The felicitation programme acknowledged the retirees’ years of public service and their role in supporting the GHMC’s efforts to deliver essential civic services across Hyderabad.
