Hyderabad: Labour, Employment and Mines Minister G Vivek Venkatswamy engaged with members of the Telangana diaspora in Berlin, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to supporting its citizens abroad.
A high-level delegation from the Telangana government, led by the Minister, held an interactive session with students and young professionals. The meeting created a platform to discuss welfare measures, career prospects, and strategies for integrating global skills with the state’s development vision.

During the interaction, the Minister praised the dynamic and enterprising spirit of the diaspora in Germany. Moreover, he assured attendees that the government would provide comprehensive assistance, including administrative, legal, and professional support. This assurance, he said, is aimed at helping Telangana citizens succeed in international environments.
In addition, the Minister stressed the importance of youth empowerment. He encouraged students and professionals to innovate and lead in their respective domains, aligning with the broader vision of building a “Young India.”
Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of learning the German language. According to him, language proficiency plays a crucial role in social integration and opens access to high-growth sectors such as engineering, technology, and healthcare. Therefore, he urged the diaspora to actively adopt the local language for better career prospects.
The Minister also informed participants about specialised German language training programmes launched by the Telangana government. These initiatives are designed to prepare students for global careers and equip them with competitive skills.
