Social media stunt arrest in Hyderabad after reckless driving near Secretariat

Hyderabad: Saifabad Police arrested a เคฏเฅเคตเค• in a social media stunt arrest case after he performed dangerous bike stunts on public roads near Lumbini Park and the Telangana State Secretariat, officials said.

Acting on credible information and sustained surveillance, police apprehended Ibrahim Beg, 23, a student from Shankar Nagar, Old Malakpet. He had been filming reckless stunts to create social media reels, causing panic among commuters and pedestrians.

Investigators said the accused carried out these acts in high-security zones, thereby posing a serious threat to public safety. Police seized the motorcycle used for the stunts and the mobile phone used to record the videos.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of Erukonda Seetaiah, Station House Officer of Saifabad Police Station. The team was led by Investigating Officer V. Parameswari, along with personnel L. Sampath and S. Mahesh.

Officials stated that such reckless driving incidents would attract strict legal action. They warned that anyone endangering lives through stunt riding or similar acts on public roads would face severe consequences under the law.
