Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation launched development works worth ₹1.83 crore in the Musheerabad constituency on Tuesday, with Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi inaugurating the projects along with MLA Mutha Gopal and Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Shobhan Reddy.
The works included ₹70 lakh development projects in Gangaputra Colony of Musheerabad ward. In Gandhi Nagar’s Mala Basti, CC road construction works worth ₹42 lakh were taken up. CC roads worth ₹30 lakh were launched in Advocate Colony of Kavadiguda ward, while similar works costing ₹41 lakh were inaugurated in Krishna Nagar Colony of Ramgopalpet ward.
Addressing the gathering, Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi said GHMC had given special focus to the development of basic infrastructure in colonies and bastis across the city over the past five years. She instructed officials to ensure that the newly launched works were completed with quality standards and within the stipulated timeline.
Musheerabad development works focus on civic infrastructure
Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Shobhan Reddy said GHMC accorded high priority to improving civic amenities within its limits. She added that sustained efforts were underway to strengthen urban infrastructure across Hyderabad.
