Kavitha’s remarks enough to expose BRS, says Komatireddy Venkat Reddy

Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Wednesday said that the remarks made by former MLC Kavitha were sufficient to expose the Bharat Rashtra Samithi and its president K Chandrashekar Rao.

Speaking informally to media persons during his visit to Mahabubnagar district, the Minister said Kavitha, the daughter of the former Chief Minister, had recently launched sharp criticism against the BRS, which clearly showed that everything was not well within the opposition party.

He said the public could now see internal differences coming out into the open, adding that such statements reflected deep cracks in the party’s leadership and functioning.

Kavitha remarks BRS signal internal discord, says minister

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the ongoing criticism from within the BRS itself had weakened the party’s credibility. He added that when senior leaders openly questioned their own leadership, it indicated serious dissatisfaction within the organisation.

The Minister said these developments had further strengthened the Congress government’s position in Telangana, as people were closely watching the turmoil within the opposition ranks.
