The BRS has fielded Sunitha Gopinath. The Congress is weighing Naveen Yadav, B. Ram Mohan, C. N. Reddy, and Anjan Kumar Yadav, with the final choice expected after leadership consultations, reportedly involving Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The BJP is reportedly exploring the option of fielding former MLA and actor Jayasudha to counter a woman candidate from the BRS.

Jubilee Hills by-election will hinge on urban governance and turnout

In the Jubilee Hills by-election, urban issues will dominate—mobility, sanitation, and civic amenities. Campaigns are likely to feature apartment outreach, gated community meetings, and targeted digital engagement. Parties will pursue youth and first-time voters with voter-list assistance and turnout drives.

Officials have assured that the effective implementation of MCC. Training of poll staff, EVM checks, and route planning will run in parallel.

Congress’s final ticket choice and the BJP’s pick will shape late momentum. A sympathy wave for the BRS nominee could surface; however, local grievances and candidate credibility often decide urban seats. Consequently, ward-level alliances and booth management can tip margins.

The schedule is tight. After nominations close on October 21 and scrutiny on October 22, withdrawals will settle the final ballot. From there, campaign tempo rises toward November 11.
