Youth found dead with neck injury under Shamshabad RGIA police limits

Hyderabad: A youth died under suspicious circumstances in the limits of the Shamshabad RGIA Police Station on Saturday. The incident triggered panic in the locality.

Body found with neck injuries

According to Crime Inspector Pawan Kumar, police received information around 8 am. The caller reported a body lying in Mathura Nagar Colony in Shamshabad town. Therefore, police rushed to the spot and conducted a preliminary inspection.

Locals identified the deceased as Chinnarasu Narayana Swamy. He hailed from the Pudukottai region of Tamil Nadu. Police found the body on Madura Nagar Street No. 3. Officers noticed clear injuries on the neck.

Meanwhile, police called a clue team to the spot. The team collected evidence to support the investigation.

Cause of death under probe

Police also noticed pigs roaming near the scene. As a result, officials began examining whether animal bites caused the neck injuries. At the same time, they are probing the possibility of an attack by unknown persons.

Therefore, officials said the postmortem report will determine the exact cause of death. Police shifted the body to Osmania Hospital for autopsy.

Finally, police registered a case and launched a detailed investigation. They said they are examining the Shamshabad youth’s death from all possible angles.
