TNGO annadanam programme held for MNJ Cancer Hospital patients

Hyderabad: The Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Central Association organised an annadanam programme on Tuesday at MNJ Cancer Hospital. Volunteers served meals to patients undergoing treatment and to their attendants. The programme formed part of a weekly service initiative.

Moreover, S. M. Hussaini (Mujeeb), General Secretary of the TNGO Central Association, led the programme. Under the aegis of the Asad Anwar Memorial Trust, the association conducts the annadanam drive every week. The initiative supports poor patients and their helpers visiting the hospital.

While addressing the gathering, Dr Mujeeb explained the purpose of the programme. He said the initiative ensures that economically weak patients and attendants do not suffer hunger during prolonged treatment. Additionally, he said the association has run the service consistently and will continue it without interruption.
