Hyderabad: The July 2025 TRAI ID Test assessed mobile service quality in Hyderabad–Nizamabad NH and Nizamabad City. The evaluation focused on call setup, call drops, data throughput, and video performance.
The drive covered nearly 570 km across highways and city routes, along with hotspot checks at public institutions and commercial hubs.
TRAI ID Test reports near-perfect call setup, but BSNL lags on drop rates
Airtel and Jio reported 0% call drop rates, while Vodafone Idea registered 0.76%. BSNL recorded the highest call drops at 5.61%. All operators crossed 97% in call setup success.
The tests included Kamareddy bus stand, Nizamabad area hospital, Venu Mall, and key residential localities. Results reflected conditions faced by everyday users.
