Tirupati accident claims life of 18-year-old biker near Upparapalli

Hyderabad: A Tirupati accident claimed the life of an 18-year-old youth after a car rammed into his two-wheeler near Upparapalli village under the limits of Tirupati Rural Police Station.

Police said the incident occurred at Tirumala Nagar 5 Cross, close to Upparapalli. The deceased was identified as M. Vikram, a resident of Upparapalli village. He was returning home on his motorcycle after completing work related to vegetable trading when the car hit his vehicle.

Vikram sustained severe injuries in the collision. Locals rushed him to a private hospital for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment a short while later.

Tirupati accident registered based on sister’s complaint

Police said a case was registered based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s sister, Geetanjali. The investigation was taken up by Ramakrishna, Sub-Inspector of Tirupati Rural Police Station.

Officials said further investigation was underway to ascertain the circumstances that led to the Tirupati accident. The body was handed over to the family after necessary formalities.
