Hyderabad: The Telangana NGOs (TNGOs) Union on Thursday inaugurated its annual cricket tournament with a spirited ceremony attended by central and district union leaders, senior office-bearers from multiple employee organisations and enthusiastic participants from across the region.
TNGOs Central Union president Maram Jagadeeshwar, general secretary Dr. S.M. Hussaini (Mujeeb), associate president Kasturi Venkat, and treasurer Satyanarayana Goud formally launched the event. Other key guests included Telangana Class IV Employees Central Association general secretary Khader Bin Hassan, former president Gnaneshwar, and TNGOs Hyderabad City Union leaders K. Srikanth and Hari Krishna.
Addressing the gathering, Jagadeeshwar stressed the importance of discipline in both professional and personal life. “Sports help build that discipline,” he said. General secretary Hussaini added that games reduce workplace stress and promote social awareness and healthy living—values the union supports beyond resolving employee issues.
