Hyderabad: Telangana Congress announced a major step on September 8. At the TPCC meeting, Bhatti Vikramarka proposed the return of former leaders. The executive backed it without dissent.
Those who left before elections, either due to ticket issues or disagreements, will be invited back. Some have already rejoined, while others are with BJP or BRS.

The list of names includes Ponnala Laxmaiah, Nagam Janardhan Reddy, Cheruku Sudhakar, Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Manavatha Rai, Kurva Vijay Kumar, Marri Shashidhar Reddy, and Marri Janardhan Reddy.
The leadership said the step is aimed at boosting strength in Telangana. They hope the return of experienced leaders will energise cadres at all levels.
