Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC Dr. Dasoju Sravan Kumar has accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of losing control over Telangana’s governance, claiming that fear has replaced confidence in decision-making. He said Sravan accuses Revanth of turning government policy into panic-driven reactions.
Sravan accuses Revanth of panic politics, says fear has replaced Telangana governance
In a statement, Sravan said, “Revanth Reddy is governing through insecurity. Every major decision shows anxiety, not assurance. Telangana deserves leadership with courage, not confusion.” He alleged that the Congress government was rattled by the strong public response to the BRS roadshow led by K.T. Rama Rao in Shaikpet.
“The crowd’s energy in Shaikpet was a reflection of people’s frustration with Congress misrule. It shows that Telangana is rising against fear-based politics,” he said. He added that the enthusiasm would continue across Jubilee Hills in the coming rallies.
Sravan criticized Revanth Reddy for trying to hide failures through public spectacle. “A confident leader addresses issues. A fearful one distracts. The Chief Minister’s focus on optics cannot hide unemployment, inflation, or unfulfilled promises,” he said.
He further said the inclusion of Mohammad Azharuddin in the cabinet was a panic response to political pressure. “After ignoring Muslim representation for two years, Revanth Reddy acted only when defeat appeared imminent. This is reactionary politics, not reform,” Sravan commented.
According to him, the Congress government had alienated all sections within two years. “Farmers, youth, and minorities all feel neglected. Instead of governance, Telangana now witnesses fear-based theatrics,” he added.
Sravan claimed the BRS campaign was restoring confidence among voters. “People know who developed Telangana. They will choose stability over chaos,” he said.
Concluding his remarks, Sravan asserted that BRS represented courage in leadership. “Revanth Reddy’s panic politics cannot withstand public truth. Governance built on fear is bound to collapse,” he said.
