Hyderabad: Congress leader and Telangana Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Thursday said the Revanth Reddy-led government had begun fulfilling its promise of inclusive development. He said the administration was achieving this through fair appointments, transparent recruitment, and greater access to education.
He made the remarks during a door-to-door campaign in the Erragadda division of Jubilee Hills constituency. Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and other Congress leaders joined him in support of party candidate Naveen Yadav. Shabbir Ali said the government had rebuilt public confidence by implementing policies based on equality and justice.
He stressed that the Congress government’s actions marked a clear break from the previous regime’s neglect. “These are not symbolic gestures; the government is delivering on the ground,” he said.
Moreover, he said the administration had ensured representation across communities. Minority professionals now hold important roles, including a Muslim Additional Advocate General, several government pleaders, and Dr Amir Ullah Khan as a member of the Telangana State Public Service Commission. According to Shabbir Ali, these appointments show the Congress government’s sincerity in giving every social group an institutional voice.

Recruitment, colleges, and job access reflect inclusive development
Furthermore, he said the government had strengthened public institutions and created equal opportunities in recruitment. Thousands of minority youth, particularly from the BC-E category, secured jobs through recent recruitment drives.
In addition, the government sanctioned one Minority Law College, two Pharmacy Colleges, and added 2,200 engineering seats in colleges that serve minority students. Shabbir Ali said this expansion in education showed the administration’s genuine intent to empower disadvantaged communities.
He added that in the latest DSC recruitment for 10,006 posts, 720 minority candidates were selected. He called this “proof of inclusive opportunity backed by results, not rhetoric.”
Meanwhile, Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said the Congress government was rebuilding Telangana on the foundation of social justice and welfare. He said years of inequality under the previous regime were now being corrected with decisive action.
He urged Jubilee Hills voters to support Naveen Yadav, noting that the Congress candidate represented the party’s focus on service and equitable governance.
The campaign included direct interaction with residents and the distribution of leaflets highlighting major government programmes in employment, education, and welfare.
Finally, Shabbir Ali said the Congress party was proving its credibility through visible results. “Congress delivers on its promises—not just in words, but through action,” he said.
