SAR CPL mobilization parade concludes at Amberpet

Hyderabad: The SAR CPL mobilization parade concluded at the Special Armed Reserve Central Police Lines (SAR CPL) in Amberpet on Wednesday with a formal de-mobilization ceremony attended by senior police officials.

The event marked the completion of a 14-day intensive mobilization program for armed police personnel. The training exercise began on February 16 and was conducted in accordance with the Telangana State Police Manual (TGPM) guidelines under Para 800, Chapter 42, Order No. 807.

The de-mobilization parade began at 06:45 AM under the directions of the Hyderabad Commissioner of Police. R. Venkateswarlu, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (CAR, HAC) and Commandant of SAR CPL, attended as the chief guest and reviewed the parade.

Senior officer V. Trilok Nath Reddy, In-charge Additional Commandant, along with other officials, also participated in the ceremony.

During the 14-day program, around 470 police personnel underwent training aimed at strengthening operational efficiency and field readiness.

Training focus during SAR CPL mobilization parade

Officials said the SAR CPL mobilization parade training covered a wide range of operational duties. Personnel received instruction in guard duties, escort assignments, law and order bandobust, VIP security protocols and advanced weapon handling.

Out of the total participants, 407 personnel took part in firing practice to improve marksmanship. The program also included training in squad drill, arms drill and lathi drill.

In addition, special sessions were conducted on mob operations and crowd control techniques. Personnel also received training in fire-fighting methods to respond effectively during emergencies.

Authorities conducted awareness sessions on the harmful effects of online gaming, alcohol consumption and narcotics. Training programs also covered cyber fraud prevention, first aid, balanced nutrition and maintaining healthy lifestyle practices.

Police officials further briefed personnel on administrative procedures such as the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), service rules, leave regulations and disciplinary provisions related to major and minor punishments.

The training also included lessons on deployment planning, Bell of Arms management, stores maintenance and vehicle maintenance.

Addressing the gathering, Commandant R. Venkateswarlu said the skills gained during the mobilization program must be applied during field duties. He stressed that disciplined implementation of the training would strengthen public safety and improve policing efficiency.
