Revanth Reddy to visit Khammam on January 18

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will visit Khammam district on January 18. During the visit, he will attend the national conference of the Communist Party of India in Khammam.

On the same day, Revanth Reddy will inaugurate a newly built market yard at Madhulapally. Authorities built the facility at a cost of ₹25 crore within Edulapuram municipal limits. He will also inaugurate a nursing college in the area, which cost another ₹25 crore.

In addition, the Chief Minister will virtually lay the foundation stone for a new Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University building. The project will cost an estimated ₹108 crore. Meanwhile, sources said officials are planning a public meeting as part of the Khammam tour.

Ahead of the visit, Sunil Dutt, Commissioner of Police, inspected the helipad area at the Madhulapally market yard. Municipal Commissioner Srinivas Reddy and Tahsildar P Ram Prasad joined the inspection.

Officials reviewed security and logistics for the Chief Minister’s programme. They said authorities will finalise details of the public meeting and schedule shortly.
