Hyderabad: Rekulapally Bhoopathi Reddy has been serving as the Indian National Congress (INC) MLA from Nizamabad (Rural) since December 2023. He secured a 21,963 vote victory over BRS’s Bajireddy Goverdhan.
Political and personal background
Rekulapally Bhoopathi Reddy promised irrigation support for small farmers, black-topping of key rural stretches, and better access to health services. Since the election, his outreach has centred on speeding up drinking-water works, road repairs and welfare scheme saturation in gram panchayats across the constituency.
