Police flag march held in Goshamahal to boost public safety

Hyderabad: Acting on the orders of City Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar, the Hyderabad police conducted a police flag march in sensitive localities of the Goshamahal division to strengthen public confidence and deter criminal activity.

The police flag march covered Begum Bazaar Chatri, Goshamahal Kulsumpura and Purana Pul areas under the Golconda Zone. Deputy Commissioner of Police led the operation, while Goshamahal Assistant Commissioner of Police S. Sudarshan supervised the exercise on the ground.

Senior police officials said the objective of the police flag march was to instil a sense of security among residents and traders. At the same time, the police aimed to send a clear warning to troublemakers and those involved in hooliganism that strict action would follow any attempt to disturb public order.

Officers participating in the march interacted with local residents and shopkeepers. They assured people that the police would remain vigilant and responsive to complaints at all times.

Police officials stated that the police flag march was part of sustained efforts to create a crime-free society in the Goshamahal area. The visible presence of the force was intended to reassure common citizens that their safety remained a top priority for the police.

According to officials, the march also aimed to reinforce the message that the police were responsible for protecting people day and night. Regular patrolling and enforcement measures would continue in the area to prevent crimes and maintain law and order.
