Hyderabad: Paidi Rakesh Reddy has been serving as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Armoor since December 2023. He won the 2023 Telangana Assembly election by a margin of 29,669 votes, defeating Congress’s Prodduturi Vinay Kumar Reddy, with former minister A. Jeevan Reddy finishing behind them.

Paidi Rakesh Reddy ’s campaign emphasised arterial-road upgrades, reliable drinking water supply, and employment-linked training for youth. Since taking office, he has held constituency meetings on municipal services, village roads and school facilities, and stated that delivery timelines for sanctioned works would be monitored regularly.
