Hyderabad: Congress spokesperson Nizamuddin appealed to Jubilee Hills voters to resist fake news and maintain vigilance during the final hours before polling. He warned that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) might use social media manipulation to confuse voters.
Voters urged to verify information before sharing
He said edited videos, fabricated visuals, and AI-generated messages were being circulated online to distort facts. “Verify everything before you share,” Nizamuddin advised, asking citizens to avoid spreading unverified political material.
The Congress, he added, had submitted complaints to the Election Commission and cybercrime officials regarding these online violations. “We have registered FIRs and are ensuring that misinformation is curbed promptly,” he stated.
He said the party’s campaign under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy focused on development, welfare, and transparency — not digital manipulation.
Congress confident of clean mandate
Nizamuddin thanked voters for their support and urged them to cast their votes peacefully on November 11. “Every clean vote is a stand for democracy,” he said, expressing confidence that Congress candidate Naveen Yadav would win with a decisive mandate.
