Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Tuesday permitted the conduct of the Dharma Raksha Sabha at Balapur on January 24, 2026. The court allowed the event subject to specific conditions.
The court granted permission after hearing submissions from the organisers and government authorities. It clearly stated that organisers and officials must strictly maintain law and order during the programme.
Police Directed to Ensure Security
As part of its order, the High Court directed police officials to deploy adequate security at the venue. It also instructed them to take preventive measures to avoid any untoward incidents and ensure a peaceful event.
GHMC Asked to Maintain Cleanliness
The court further directed the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation to arrange proper sanitation and cleanliness at the venue. It issued the instruction in view of the large public gathering expected for the event.
Organisers Held Responsible for Compliance
The High Court stressed that organisers must conduct the Dharma Raksha Sabha strictly according to the conditions imposed. It held them responsible for crowd control, traffic regulation, and public safety arrangements.
Officials said they will make all necessary arrangements at Balapur. They added that authorities will ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the event in line with the court’s directions.
