Ganja Supplier Targeting IT Employees Arrested

Hyderabad: Madhapur SOT police have arrested a Ganja Supplier for his alleged involvement in the ganja supply to IT employees following a targeted operation conducted within the Rayadurgam police station limits.

According to police officials, the arrest was made after receiving reliable information that ganja was being sold to software employees working in the area. Acting on the tip-off, the Madhapur Special Operations Team traced and apprehended the suspect, identified as Sohel.

Police Action Exposes the Ganja Supplier

During the arrest, police seized 17 kilograms of marijuana along with MDMA drugs from Sohel’s possession. Investigators revealed that the ganja had been transported from Nanded district in Maharashtra before being supplied locally.

The police further stated that the accused was specifically targeting IT employees for the distribution of narcotic substances. Along with Sohel, five consumers who had reportedly used marijuana were also detained as part of the operation.

Authorities confirmed that a case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Further investigation is currently underway to determine the extent of the network involved in the ganja supply to IT employees.
