Deputy Mayor inspects civic issues in OU police station limits

Hyderabad: Mothe Srilatha Shobhan Reddy on Saturday inspected civic issues within the Osmania University Police Station limits. She focused on sanitation lapses, faulty streetlights, damaged roads, and maintenance issues.

She conducted the inspection along with Mothe Shobhan Reddy. The visit aimed to review long-pending civic problems affecting the public and police station visitors.

During the inspection, Jagan and Circle Inspector Appalanaidu briefed the Deputy Mayor. They highlighted poor sanitation, unsafe lighting at night, and damaged roads around the premises. As a result, the public continues to face daily inconvenience.

OU police station civic issues taken up with GHMC

Following the briefing, police officials sought immediate intervention from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. In response, the Deputy Mayor held discussions with GHMC officials and Osmania University authorities.

She reviewed sanitation works, streetlight repairs, and road development plans. Moreover, she assured officials that authorities would implement permanent solutions soon. She said these steps would improve facilities and ensure greater convenience for the public.
