Cyberabad Police 24th Formation Day Celebrates Urban Policing Model

In addition to the ceremonial proceedings, the commissionerate has planned a blood donation camp, a plantation drive, and community engagement programmes. These initiatives aim to reinforce the department’s civic commitment while fostering public participation.

Established in 2003 under the Cyberabad Metropolitan Act, the commissionerate oversees a high-growth region that includes the Financial District, IT Corridor, Global Capability Centres, medical and vaccine hubs, and major hospitality zones. Over time, it has evolved into a nationally recognised example of modern urban policing.

Furthermore, Cyberabad Police integrates technology-driven policing systems and cybercrime expertise with traffic and community safety initiatives. Strong public–private partnerships also support its operational framework. The department has received multiple national awards for professional excellence and forward-looking policing strategies.

Since its inception, the commissionerate has strengthened citizen safety through modern command and control systems, specialised crime units, cyber enforcement mechanisms, and proactive outreach. Consequently, it continues to bolster regional development and public trust.

The Cyberabad Police 24th Formation Day event will take place at the Cyberabad CP Office on February 12, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM. The public has been invited to attend the celebrations.
