Congress Says Jubilee Hills Development Shows Governance, Not Gimmicks

Hyderabad: TPCC spokesperson Syed Nizamuddin has said that Jubilee Hills development stands as clear proof of the Congress government’s governance and delivery. He accused the BRS of resorting to “credit theft” to hide its decade of inaction.

Nizamuddin says Jubilee Hills development showcases Congress’s visible governance

Nizamuddin said several civic and infrastructure works sanctioned by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy were falsely projected by BRS leaders as their own. “They’re filming campaign videos in front of Congress-built projects. That’s not contribution—it’s desperation,” he remarked.

He cited the new U-turn near Tolichowki as one example of Congress-led civic progress, saying it was designed to ease traffic after residents’ demands.

According to Nizamuddin, nearly ₹300 crore worth of urban-improvement projects have been implemented across Jubilee Hills, covering roads, drains, and amenities. “Our focus is on delivery, not drama,” he said.

He emphasised that the works are part of a long-term urban plan, not election-time promises. “The BRS ignored the constituency for ten years. The difference is visible now,” he stated.

He added that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had already pledged comprehensive development in every Hyderabad division and called upon residents to verify claims. “Ask who sanctioned the work. Jubilee Hills is progressing under Congress, not under rhetoric,” he said.

He concluded, “Congress believes in visible governance. The BRS can copy our visuals, not our intent.”
