BRS bribery Jubilee Hills: TPCC claims cash-for-votes, fake AI content

Hyderabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) on Saturday alleged that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) bribery in Jubilee Hills and circulated fake AI-generated videos to discredit Congress ahead of the November 11 by-election.

TPCC spokesperson Syed Nizamuddin said BRS members offered cash in several localities while spreading manipulated visuals and audio clips accusing Congress workers of misconduct. He said the tactics reflected the BRS’s fear of losing.

Nizamuddin claimed that the BRS had consistently used misinformation and doctored material throughout the campaign. “They are misleading voters as the campaign nears its end on November 9,” he remarked.

He added that the Congress campaign, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, drew strong public participation through extensive outreach and meetings. “The response indicates confidence in our candidate, Naveen Yadav,” he said.

Nizamuddin appealed to Congress cadres to remain vigilant and prevent any unethical practices during the polling process. “We will protect the people’s mandate,” he stated.

He said the BRS’s last-minute actions exposed its insecurity and loss of credibility among Jubilee Hills voters.
