Arrive Alive initiative gains momentum in Cyberabad with tech-driven push

Hyderabad: The Arrive Alive initiative gained momentum in Cyberabad with the launch of the Arrive Alive 2026 tabletop calendar. The launch marked a clear shift from vision to execution through a mission-mode roadmap to improve road safety in Telangana.

The programme is moving forward under the leadership of B. Shivadhar Reddy, Director General of Police. Moreover, senior police officers across the state are actively supporting the initiative. Officials said the goal is to reduce road fatalities by combining enforcement, technology, and public participation.

As part of the campaign, Arrive Alive representatives met M. Ramesh, IPS, and Gajarao Bhupal, IPS, on Monday. During the meeting, they discussed technology-driven interventions and collaborative strategies to improve compliance with traffic laws.

Meanwhile, police leadership reviewed existing road safety measures. They also examined ways to integrate data-based enforcement with public awareness efforts under the Arrive Alive initiative.

Arrive Alive initiative showcases AI-enabled enforcement vehicle

A key highlight of the visit was a test ride in an AI-enabled Traffic Law Compliance Vehicle (TLCV) by the Cyberabad Commissioner of Police. Officials said the vehicle enables real-time detection of traffic violations and strengthens on-ground enforcement.

Organisers said the Arrive Alive initiative goes beyond a short-term campaign. Instead, it represents a long-term commitment to families and communities to save lives. They added that the programme reflects Telangana’s resolve to make road safety a shared responsibility of citizens, technology partners, and enforcement agencies.
