Anil Jadhav represents Boath constituency as BRS MLA

Hyderabad: Anil Jadhav has been serving as the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA from Boath (ST) since December 2023. He won the constituency with a margin of 22,800 votes, defeating his nearest rival from the BJP.

Political and personal background

Jadhav represents one of Telangana’s key Scheduled Tribe constituencies. His 2023 victory reaffirmed BRS’s hold in the northern districts, particularly in areas where welfare schemes and agricultural subsidies form the backbone of political support.

His campaign focused on housing schemes, irrigation facilities for small farmers and strengthening government schools in remote mandals. He pledged to continue the work of expanding welfare delivery and ensuring that Boath’s tribal communities receive the benefits of state programmes without delay.

Jadhav’s political career has been closely linked to BRS’s outreach in tribal areas. His win reflected confidence among voters in the party’s promises on social welfare, healthcare and development projects.

Public service and affidavit details

In his 2023 election affidavit, Jadhav declared his assets and affirmed that no serious criminal cases were pending against him. His financial disclosures indicated moderate holdings, consistent with rural leaders representing ST constituencies.

Since assuming office, he has spoken about taking up constituency-specific projects such as new hostel facilities for tribal students and support for farmers affected by erratic rainfall. His role in Assembly discussions has also included raising issues of rural connectivity and healthcare infrastructure.
